Spaceflight heritage
On the 23rd of Janyary 2009, Ã…AC Microtec became the first Swedish Micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) company to successfully launch and operate advanced propritary MEMS components in space.

This picture is courtesy of JAXA. It shows the separation ring of the main payload, the satellite IBUKI. Ã…AC's TAMU payload is included in Sprite-Sat which was built by Tohoku University and can be seen in the picture as the boxed shape satellite to the right in the picture.
