Mats Magnell, CEO of AAC Microtec has after medical check-ups been advised by his physician to take sick leave for an extensive period (>3 months).

The board has therefore decided to appoint Kjell Bohlin as acting CEO, starting from January 15, 2012. Kjell joined the company during the autumn of 2011 as CTO.

Kjell Bohlin has a PhD in Microelectronics and has during his career held various management positions within Ericsson including VP of the microelectronics division. Kjell spent 5 years with Micronic Mydata where he during different periods managed technology, customer support and sales.

Additional, the company continues strengthening the organization broadly to meet the ongoing business growth with several recruitments in engineering, project management, marketing, and sales.
